Monday we took Scott and Zina ice fishing for trout out at Lake Norris. They are avid anglers from Varna and it sure was a good thing on a day like today. For some reason it seemed like all the fish in the whole lake were sitting tight with their mouths closed shut! Definitely we had to work harder today than any other day of the whole year. We had tip-ups set up across the whole lake with a variety of baits searching for fish, and only had one flag pop the entire time!
The fish they did catch they really had to work for, but they did end up catching a handful of real nice golden and rainbow trout. This golden trout is actually the biggest golden caught this year!
