After the Christmas program at Church, I headed straight for Brimfield, Illinois to guide a group of 10 for ice fishing for their annual ice fishing extravaganza. At Edwins place, 10 quickly becomes 15 and before you know it, 15 quickly turns into 20! I was prepared this year though and brought enough gear and bait for an army.
Word was getting around pretty quick that the fish were biting and before long the whole neighborhood and even some distant relatives of Edwins were there catching their dinner. Guiding 20 people ice fishing solo isn't a very easy task, but I took it even one step further this year and took this video footage while baiting hooks, untangling lines, tying jigs, and unhooking lots of fish!
Here is the video, its a must see to check out how fast these young ladies and lads pick up on ice fishing fundamentals and also to see how awesome the fish were biting today! They were on FIRE!!
