We are excited to announce that starting in 2009, all of our guided fishing trips will be filmed and edited!
In 2007 the Herman Brothers started providing a unique fishing guide service, where Justin and Nate would take clients and their families fishing on the clients own lake. During these guided trips, we would teach our clients everything they could possibly need to know about catching fish in their lake. This became such a popular event with our clients, that we started offering guided fishing trips on our own private lakes.
In 2008, Justin and Nate taught more than 1000 local children, seniors, widows, and just plain regular people how to fish! In 2009 we are anxiously awaiting the grand opening of our new fishing park in East Peoria, Illinos! We have joined together with several area businesses to open up Hooked on Fishing Park. Our plans are to teach children, seniors, boy scouts, etc how to fish free of charge!
During the ice fishing season of 2008/2009, our guided fishing trips took on another unique twist when Justin started filming all of our fishing trips. He then would make 8 to 10 minute fishing shows for our clients to share their ultimate guided fishing trip with the world! To keep tabs of all of our fishing photos, stories, reports and videos, we started this blog called http://www.thediaryofalakenerd.blogspot.com/
A guided fishing trip with Herman Brothers consists of 4 hours of fishing for up to 4 people. We provide all the necessary fishing gear, tackle, bait, licenses, photos, and now starting in 2009 your entire fishing trip will be filmed and edited so you can share your unforgettable fishing memories with the world! Our lakes located in Central Illinois are full of Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Walleye, Catfish, Tiger Muskie, Jumbo Perch, Crappie, Bluegill, and Rainbow Trout. We always have at least at least a few species of fish aggressively feeding all year round!
